Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided engineering, procurement and
construction support (EPCM) for a 64 MMSCF/d solution Gas, 9800 bbl/day
inlet oil, and 5450 bbl/day Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) processing and
terminal facility in Northeast British Columbia (See Feature Project). Power generation equipment was integrated into the facility design. Design features of the power generation included:
- The installation of 2x Solar Centaur and 1x Solar Taurus 60S gas-turbines
- The design to pre-package the engines into a skidded building
off-site, complete with HVAC systems; electrical; piping; air intake
structure; and auxiliary equipment.
- The design is integrated into the plant control system, including
plant DCS, unit control systems and ESD system with operation of the
units remotely from the plant control room.
